真里とジャスティンは初めてのデートに出掛けている。

Mari and Justin are dating for the first time.

真里： お腹がすいてきたなぁ。映画の前に、どこで食事する？

Mari: I'm getting hungry now. Where should we eat before the movie?

ジャスティン： イタリアンはどう？

Justin: How about Italian?

---

真里： それか、お寿司は？

Mari: Or maybe Sushi?

---

ジャスティン： 生魚？ とんでもない！ 安全には思えないね。

Justin: Raw fish? No way! That doesn't sound safe to me.

---

真里： 心配いらないわ。私はお寿司を食べてお腹を壊したこと、ないわよ。

Mari: Don't worry. I never had problems after eating Sushi.

---

ジャスティン： でも、調理せずにどうやってばい菌を殺すんだい？

Justin: But how do they kill the germs without cooking?

---

真里： 魚を二日ほど急速冷凍するのよ。大丈夫かどうかは、魚の匂いでも分かるわ。

Mari: They deep-freeze the fish for a couple of days. You can also tell from the smell if the fish is okay.

ジャスティン： それはおもしろいな。なんでそんな事知ってるの？

Justin: Interesting. How do you know that?

---

真里： お寿司屋さんで2年働いてたの。

Mari: I worked at a Sushi restaurant for 2 years.

---

ジャスティン： なるほどね。じゃあ、行こう！

Justin: I see. Let's go!
