The atheist
Молодая женщина пришла домой грустная.
A young woman came home looking sad.
Она сказала своей матери: "Пётр мне сегодня сделал предложение."
She told her mother, "Peter proposed to me today."
"Тогда почему ты такая грустная?" - спросила её мать.
"Then why are you so sad?" her mother asked.
"Потому что он также упомянул, что он атеист. Мама, он не верит, что существует ад!"
"Because he also mentioned he was an atheist. Mom, he doesn't believe there's hell!"
Её мать ответила: "Всё равно выходи замуж за него! Вместе мы покажем ему, насколько он ошибается!"
Her mother replied, "Marry him anyway! Between the two of us, we'll show him how wrong he is!"
