The atheist
Una mujer joven llegó a casa con aspecto triste.
A young woman came home looking sad.
Le dijo a su madre "Paul me ha propuesto matrimonio hoy".
She told her mother, "Paul proposed to me today."
"Entonces, ¿por qué estás tan triste?", le preguntó su madre.
"Then why are you so sad?" her mother asked.
"Porque también dijo que era ateo. ¡Mamá, él cree que el infierno no existe!"
"Because he also mentioned he was an atheist. Mom, he believes that there is not hell!"
Su madre le contestó, "¡cásate con él de todas formas! ¡Juntas, le enseñaremos lo equivocado que está!"
Her mother replied, "Marry him anyway! Together we'll show him how wrong he is!"
