Jackie visita a sus padres.
Jackie visits her parents.
Jackie: "¡Hola mamá! ¿Qué tal estás?"
Jackie: Hi Mom! How are you?
Madre de Jackie: "Estoy bien, aparte del dolor de espalda."
Jackie's mother: I'm OK. Apart from the back pains.
Jackie: ¿Cómo está papá? ¿Disfrutando de la jubilación?"
Jackie: How is Dad? Enjoying his retirement?
Madre de Jackie: "Está bien. Desde que ha descubierto la cantidad de vídeos de cocina que hay en YouTube, no para de hacer recetas nuevas."
Jackie's mother: He's fine. Since he's found out that there are many cooking videos on YouTube, he's been trying out new recipes all the time.
Jackie: "Eso es genial."
Jackie: I think it's great!
Madre de Jackie: "Bueno... depende. A veces sus platos están incomibles."
Jackie's mother: Well... depends. Sometimes his dishes are hardly edible!
Jackie: "Jaja. ¿Está en la cocina ahora?"
Jackie: Haha. Is he in the kitchen now?
Madre de Jackie: "Sí."
Jackie's mother: Yes.
Jackie va a la cocina.
Jackie goes into the kitchen.
Jackie: "¡Hola papá!"
Jackie: Hi Dad!
Padre de Jackie: "¡Hola cariño!"
Jackie's father: Hi darling!
Jackie: "¿Qué estás cocinando?"
Jackie: What are you cooking?
Padre de Jackie: "Un plato italiano que se llama "Calzone"."
Jackie's dad: An Italian dish called "Calzone".
Jackie: "¿Eso qué es?"
Jackie: What is that?
Padre de Jackie: "Básicamente una pizza doblada a la mitad."
Jackie's father: Basically a folded pizza.
Jackie: "Ya veo."
Jackie: I see.
Padre de Jackie: "¿Puedes poner la mesa, por favor?"
Jackie's father: Can you set the table please?
Jackie pone la mesa y después come con sus padres.
Jackie sets the table and afterwards eats together with her parents.
