Move to the Bermudas
Robert: "¡Hola Wilma! ¿Cómo estás? Me he enterado de que te mudas a las Bermudas."
Robert: Hi Wilma! How are you? I heard you are moving to the Bermudas?
Wilma: "Hola Robert. Sí, es verdad."
Wilma: Hi Robert. Yes, it is true.
Robert: "Pero te acabas de mudar a Londres."
Robert: But you just moved to London!
Wilma: "Sí, ¡lo sé!"
Wilma: Yes I know!
Robert: "¿Y por qué las Bermudas?"
Robert: So why the Bermudas?
Wilma: "Tenemos que irnos por la empresa de mi marido."
Wilma: We have to go there because of my husband's company.
Robert: "Ya veo. ¿Tu marido sigue trabajando en esa empresa de seguros?"
Robert: I see. Your husband still works in that insurance company?
Wilma: "Sí."
Wilma: Yes.
Robert: "¿Has estado ya en las Bermudas?"
Robert: Have you been to the Bermudas before?
Wilma: "Sí, es precioso."
Wilma: Yes. It is very beautiful there.
Robert: "Me lo puedo imaginar. Pero esa isla tan pequeña debe ser aburrida después de un tiempo."
Robert: I can imagine. But such a small island probably gets boring after a while.
Wilma: "Quizá sí. Pero no creo que podamos quedarnos más de 2 o 3 años."
Wilma: Maybe yes. But I don't think we are allowed to stay more than 2 or 3 years anyway.
Robert: "¿Las Bermudas son un paraíso fiscal, verdad? Me imagino que la empresa de tu marido quiere ahorrar en impuestos."
Robert: The Bermudas are a tax haven right? I guess your husband's company wants to save taxes.
Wilma: "Parece que sí."
Wilma: It seems so yes.
Robert: "Ninguna empresa grande quiere pagar impuestos aquí. Ya sabes porqué nuestro país está tan endeudado."
Robert: None of the big companies want to pay taxes here. No wonder our country is so indebted!
Wilma: "Sí, desgraciadamente. Ahora me tengo que ir, tengo hora en el dentista."
Wilma: Yes, unfortunately! I have to go now. Dentist appointment!
Robert: "Vale, ¡adiós! Saluda a tu marido de mi parte."
Robert: Okay bye! Say hello to your husband!
Wilma: "Lo haré, ¡adiós!"
Wilma: I will! Bye!
Robert: "¡Hola Wilma! ¿Cómo estás? Me he enterado de que te mudas a las Bermudas."
Robert: Hi Wilma! How are you? I heard you are moving to the Bermudas?
Wilma: "Hola Robert. Sí, es verdad."
Wilma: Hi Robert. Yes, it is true.
Robert: "Pero te acabas de mudar a Londres."
Robert: But you just moved to London!
Wilma: "Sí, ¡lo sé!"
Wilma: Yes I know!
Robert: "¿Y por qué las Bermudas?"
Robert: So why the Bermudas?
