A picnic
"ตรงนี้ดูดี นั่งใกล้ ๆ ต้นไม้นี่เถอะ"
"This is a nice place. Let's sit here next to this tree."
"ก็ดีนะ จะได้มีที่บังแดด"
"Good idea. That way we can eat in the shade."
"ใช่ วันนี้แดดแรง แถมฉันยังลืมทาโลชั่นกันแดดมาด้วย"
"Yes. The sun is very strong today, and I forgot to put on some sun lotion."
"เหมือนกันเลย เธอเก็บสลัดมันฝรั่งไว้ที่ไหน"
"So did I. Where did you put the potato salad?"
"อยู่ในถุงพลาสติกสีน้ำตาล ช่วยส่งจานมาหน่อย"
"It is in that brown plastic bag. Could you pass me the plates, please?"
"นี่ อืม แซนด์วิชน่ากินจังเลย เธอใส่อะไรไปบ้าง"
"Here you go. Mmm, those sandwiches look really good. What did you put in them?"
"มีแฮมกับชีส 2 อัน ปูกับมายองเนส 2 อัน แล้วก็ไก่กับแตงกวา 2 อัน เธอว่าเราสองคนจะอิ่มไหม"
"I made two with ham and cheese, two with crab and mayonnaise, and two with chicken and cucumber. Do you think it will be enough for both of us?"
"น่าจะนะ ฉันกินมื้อเที่ยงไม่เยอะอยู่แล้ว เธอจะเอาน้ำขวดหรือโค้กกระป๋อง"
"I think so, yes. I never eat much food at lunch. Would you prefer a bottle of water, or a can of Coca-Cola?"
"ขอน้ำเปล่าดีกว่า กินกันเถอะ เราต้องกลับถึงบ้านตอนบ่าย 3 นะ" "ทำไมล่ะ"
"I will have some water, please. Let's eat, we have to go back home at three o'clock." "Why?"
"พ่อแม่ฉันจะมาหาเราไง ฉันบอกเธอแล้วเมื่อเช้านี้" "จริงด้วย จำได้แล้ว น่าเสียดายจัง"
"Because my parents are coming to visit us. I told you this morning." "Oh yes, I remember now. What a shame."
