Site Update: Picture Flashcards  by oliver  Superman Site Supporter   31. Jan 2024

Hello language learners!
I am currently testing a new way of communicating with our members, where I post new things on our forum and announce those posts in the newsletter.

We are currently working on a new feature called Picture Flashcards, where you can learn with pictures that combine almost any language you have heard of. You can even show multiple languages at once by clicking the customise link.

The picture flashcards don't have sound at the moment and are translated by AI. We will gradually add grammar notes for the flashcards below the images. You can also contribute these by submitting them.

You can access these flashcards via "Menu > Show All Links > Text Section > Picture Flashcards".

What topics are you interested in? We offer both computer generated images as well as normal photos, which would you prefer?
We look forward to your comments below.

Thanks! This is such a good idea and a fun way to figure out different languages at the same time. I also like the idea of grammar notes for them. My topics of interest would be animals and pictures of places around the world. I love this website.

I would prefer simple cartoons, so that it is very clear.

I'm aware that a generic word, such as "shirt" can look very different if one is talking about a business shirt or a tee shirt, a series that differentiates this sort of item would be great.
